As a physiotherapist, I have spent many years helping people regain trust in their bodies and rediscover the joy of movement – whether it’s through rehabilitation or easing the burden of everyday, chronic pain.
Over the years, I’ve increasingly felt that it’s not only healing, but also prevention and conscious body awareness that bring long-term benefits and support. This is why I began to integrate the Pilates method more intentionally into my exercise routines.
Anna Decker’s approach opened up a whole new dimension in this work for me. She shares her knowledge with incredible enthusiasm, kindness, and professional integrity – not only with her instructors but also with her clients.
I’m grateful to have discovered her through social media – her training had a profound impact on me and opened new paths in my own journey.
Through her, I experienced how Pilates can remarkably strengthen the muscles while also enabling us to cross both internal and physical boundaries that once limited our freedom of movement – and ultimately, our quality of life.
What motivates you?
I believe that life cannot truly be lived without movement. My goal is for those who come to me to see movement not merely as a sweaty, exhausting activity, but as a joyful and lovable experience that can be preserved for a lifetime.
What can participants expect in your class?
You can expect exercises tailored to your personality, age, and current fitness level. In my carefully and gradually structured classes, I will accompany you with professional expertise, attention, and empathy – guiding you towards freer, pain-free movement and a better quality of life.
As a physiotherapist, Annamari has always been an advocate of a healthy, joyful lifestyle – something she embodies and shares in her everyday life. Whether it’s swimming, cycling, training, or Pilates, an active lifestyle is a natural part of her daily routine.
She enjoys hiking, stand-up paddleboarding or kayaking, and when she seeks true recharge, she turns to nature. The greatest joy for her is Latin dance – and since discovering Pilates, it has also become a natural part of her life, bringing balance not only to her body but to her mind as well.
