Sports have always played an important role in my life. My father was a physical education teacher, and I was introduced to competitive sports at a young age, which immediately captivated me. At my alma mater, the high school in Bonyhád, I had the chance to try various sports. Over time, competitive sports gave way to recreational sports. I’ve run multiple half-marathons, and as the mileage increased, so did the injuries. Today, I prioritize injury-free exercise over chasing minutes and seconds, which is how I discovered Pilates. It provides a full-body workout that strengthens and stretches, while fantastically improving posture, increasing range of motion, and enhancing coordination.
What motivates you?
Since sports are essential for me, it’s important to find an activity that challenges me, engages my entire body, and leaves me pleasantly tired—all while being safe and injury- free. I love the New Pilates by AD method because it combines traditional Pilates elements with more dynamic exercises, ensuring a satisfying fatigue after each session.
What can participants expect in your class?
In my energetic classes, which combine traditional and AD-specific Pilates exercises, I encourage everyone to enjoy their time moving while bringing out the best in themselves.
Zita has been active in sports since she was a child, and both her body and mind still need daily movement. This could be a long walk in the forest with her family and dog, cycling, swimming, or her other great passion alongside Pilates—running. In her free time, she loves to travel, and luckily her husband and young son are her companions in this, allowing them to explore fascinating places and foreign cultures together..
